Question - How do people contact me and how do I respond?

Parents can contact you either via Email or SMS.

Responding to Emails

If a parent has included their email address in the email, then you can simply respond by clicking the reply button on your email client (Outlook, Hotmail, etc...). It is important to note that your email address will be displayed to the parent when you reply using your email client.

If a parent sends you a message with their email address being anonymous, then you contact them by logging into Need a Sitter using your email address. Once logged in, you will find a copy of the message under 'My Accounts'. You can then read and reply to this anonymous message.

Responding to SMS

Written in the SMS message there should be a mobile number of the parent. When you reply to the SMS, you will need to type in the mobile number that was written in the SMS. It is a good idea to include your name when you reply to an SMS.
